Subhakar Kurly, Chairman
Operating from Bangalore and USA, Subhakar is the Chairman of the Wissen Board and is responsible for the overall profitability and growth of Wissen. With a handle in new business development, nurturing partnerships with potential partners and marketing activities in USA, Subhakar is always on the top of the situation to lead Wissen in the right direction. Subhakar was instrumental in bringing in the partnership of Wissen with Matrix Resources Inc. and was the key proponent and sponsor for the ISO certifications of the company, which helped Wissen in its growth in recent times.
Subhakar has a Master’s degree from IIT, Roorkee and brings more than Twenty years of diversified experience in SAP Netweaver administration, Oracle Database administration, Mainframe and Client Server Applications.
Ashok K Thatipally, CEO and Head of Operations
Thatipally heads the overall Wissen India Operations and is the key person behind the growth of Wissen since its establishment in year 2000. Ashok handled entire operations of Wissen and was the key person behind the successful deliveries to Wissen fortune 500 clients. He is one of the key persons behind the successful ISO certifications of Wissen.
With a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, India, and more than Twenty Five years of experience in IT Industry in a spectrum of roles, Thatipally is at the helm of Wissen’s operations, steering it towards excellence.
Madhav Vijjali – CFO and EVP of Business Development – Asia Pacific, EMEA
Operating from Wissen Bangalore, Vijjali plays the role of Chief Financial Officer for Wissen and responsible for all the financial functions of Wissen. Apart from this responsibility, Vijjali is also responsible for Business development across Asia Pacific and EMEA Regions as the Executive Vice President, Business development.
Vijjali has a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Western Michigan University, Michigan, USA, and got more than Twenty Five years of experience in the IT industry and played a number of responsible roles. Vijjali keeps in constant touch with Wissen financial status and take proactive actions to address Wissen’s financial needs.
Upendra Rachupally – EVP Global Sales
Operating from USA, Upendra holds the position of Executive Vice President with responsibility for the Global Sales. In this role Upendra was instrumental in growing the sales in USA and earned new business from fortune 500 clients such as GE Healthcare and GE Aviation. He also plays the role of onsite contact to GEHC and other US client accounts of Wissen.
Rachupally has a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Western Michigan University, Michigan, USA and over Twenty years of experience in the implementation of Multi Tier Applications. His capabilities include liaisoning and negotiations with the clientele to close the business opportunities in favour of Wissen.
Raghu Pareddy, Co-CEO
Raghu heads Wissen advanced technology division. Raghu also heads Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific regions.
Raghu is an executive with 24+ years of experience leveraging solid leadership and technical expertise to deliver large systems to derive growth and cost savings for several years at Sabre/Travelocity, Verizon, Santera Systems (acquired by Tekelec), and British Telecom. Raghu holds B.E (Computer Science) from Mysore University and Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Oregon State University, Oregon, USA.
Mohan Mummadi (VP – Head of ERP practice)
In his role as Head of ERP practice at Wissen, Mohan will drive business in respect of Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft and other ERP systems.
Mohan has overall 27 years of experience including 20 years experience in the IT industry. Prior to joining Wissen, he worked as Director in Oracle, managing huge client projects for Maintenance & Support of their IT applications spanning multiple technologies. Prior to Oracle, he has also worked in PWC, ANZ, PeopleSoft IDC in managing the implementation & delivery of the projects. Mohan is a graduate of BITS Pilani and EGMP from IIM, Bangalore.
Chaitanya Bandi (Heading Analytics practice )
Chaitanya is a renowned data scientist, is a graduate of IIT Chennai, and holds a PhD from MIT. He has worked in technology and Financial services companies such as Yahoo, Bell Labs, Lehman Brothers, and Investment Technology Group. Bandi specializes in the problems of decision making under uncertainty with applications to operations management. has focused on developing optimization based models, in particular Robust Optimization models, to formulate and solve the key problems in many of these applications. He has worked on the problems of modeling and analysis of large-scale queueing systems, mechanism design problems, optimal portfolio construction and hedging etc.
Krishnan S Iyer (Director)
Krishnan S Iyer, is a finance professional with a combined experience of over 23 years in the fields of Strategic Planning, Risk Management, Private Equity, and M&As. Sample coursework includes managing portfolios and projects in excess of $1 billion, merger and consolidation of an aviation business valued at $3 billion, valuations of financial services businesses of >$1 billion, and advising quasi-governmental institutions on financial regulation. He is a speaker on financial regulation across continents, and has worked/interacted at a professional level with over 60 nationalities.
Krishnan is a graduate of BITS (Pilani) India, and a post-graduate alumnus of MIT-Sloan School of Management.
Anurag Sinha – Head of Banking & Finance
Anurag is a technologist with over 16 years of rich experience in building solutions for financial services. Prior to joining Wissen, Anurag worked at MSCI as the head of application development group at Mumbai and led the development of key analytical capabilities for BarraOne platform. Anurag has also worked as an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley for over 8 years from their Mumbai and New York offices. During his tenure, he provided leadership to development of several solutions for Equity Research, Prime Brokerage and Secured Financing groups and was also instrumental in growing the application development group at Mumbai.
Anurag holds B.Tech and Master of Management in Finance from IIT Bombay.
